Moto More
“Moto More" Homage to Henry - Cast bronze and aluminum. This is my most noted work. It all started with a walnut tree root that I was carving, it seemed that some roots can actually swallow a rock and ruin your sharp carving tools when you hit them.... the arch behind my wife in the picture was where the rock was on the small piece. I almost quit and was going to throw it away when I laid it down next to some baby carriage wheels. The next day the wheels demanded to be installed...and the racing number exhaust pipe and a few gauges and we were finished. A few years later we entered the small version in a contest in Japan and they asked how big it would be if they would buy it , I knowing that I had no chance in hell of winning I jokeingly put down 20ft long and cast bronze.... I won and had no idea how to do it with the money allotted. I had only a few months and finally found someone to cast it and barely finished it in time. We went to Japan and went through the ceremony and had a great time. 16' x 4'x 3' from 1988.
